finger painting

well, it's a snowy day outside. i think we're going to wait until daddy gets home to venture out and play in it. so in the meantime, i decided to find a way to make edible finger paint. turns out you can just mix food coloring with sweetened condensed milk. elise loved it! she ate more than she painted...i had to prompt her to paint...see her lovely picture below :) next time, i want to try coloring instant vanilla pudding...i have a feeling i may eat more than she will! if you have any other fun ideas to do with a toddler, please let me know!

Ha ha... I just posted my blog and then clicked over to yours... I asked the SAME questions... what can you do with a toddler inside on a snowy day?? I like your idea of fingerpainting! We played hide and seek for a while, but you need two adults to play that at this point... one to hold the baby and the other to count and find the happy pair! Hope you have fun in the snow when Justin gets home!

The ultrasound pictures are adorable! love the edible paint idea! Maddie loves to play with chalk, we made play dough, and of course coloring. Also, we made a fort out of the dining room table and played follow the leader. Oh, and took all the cushions off of the sofa and just jumped. Turn on some music and dance. Hope these ideas help, should kill at least 10 minutes:)
